March 27th – 28th, 2025.
Now jointly organized by the Licensed Professional Planners of Nova Scotia (LPPANS) and students from the Dalhousie School of Planning, the conference will feature engaging presentations, discussions, and workshops on the most pressing planning issues in communities across Nova Scotia.
This year, we’re exploring the theme Trade-Offs.
The theme invites participants to explore the complexities and compromises inherent in the planning profession. As Nova Scotian communities continue to experience a rapidly growing population and many crises, planners must navigate challenging decisions that balance economic growth, social equity, and environmental sustainability. This theme encourages conversations about the trade-offs.
